Jackson Lake Lodge

The actual rooms at Jackson Lake Lodge are cabins. There are some small apartment-like buildings, which is where we were during our stay. The upper right room that you see here was ours. Not much from this side, but just wait until you see the other view!
The room was nice, with a large balcony and a view that made our jaws drop. We noticed that there wasn't an air conditioner, and it wasn't until later that we found out why! The room had a heater and extra blankets, and we were making use of both as soon as the sun went down and the temperature dropped.
When we stepped out onto the balcony for the first time, this was what we saw (although this photo was taken from inside of our room). It was just incredible. We got to see the morning sunlight hit the mountains, and then watched it set over them every day. The room had no television, but who needed one!
This view is from the far left corner of the balcony using the zoom lens on our camera. It spotlights Mt. Moran, which is on the far right side of the previous photo. This one also shows a little more of Jackson Lake.
